About Us

Dalian Research and Design Institute of Chemical Industry (DRDI) is a high-tech enterprise with R&D, production, trade, and design. It was established in 1959. The predecessor, Dalian Research and Design Institute of Chemical Industry Ministry of Chemical Industry, was under direct administration of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry. After organization reconstruction in 1999, DRDI took the present name and thereafter in 2000 was confirmed as a hi-tech enterprise by Dalian City.

Our institute possesses a group of staff members with high-level competence, 70% of them are engineering and technical personnel. Our research, development and production mainly focuses on fine chemicals and soda ash series products, such as inhibitor agent series, ultraviolet absorbent series, antioxidant series, fluorescent whitening agent series, intermediates for medicines, pesticides and dyestuff, sodium bicarbonate and ammonium bicarbonate. Our products own a good sale and reputation in both domestic and overseas markets, such as Europe and the United State.

We have a soda ash technology center which focuses on the research, development and production of soda ash, such as sodium bicarbonate and ammonium bicarbonate. Our design dept. can design the middle-sized soda ash plants and other chemical plants.
