Tundish flow stopper and skimmer, skimmer plate

The system dampens the energy from incoming stream und suppresses turbulence in the pour area. Greater flow control through the tundish significantly improves steel quality and provides substantial cost-saving potential. The system is optimized to suit each customers given needs using our in-house water modeling facilities. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is also used in this design process.
